What's this website all about?

It was suggested to me to create a way to give things to God and let him take care of them so that I can live in Peace and this website is the way that I chose to do that. It is my hope that you can come on this website or anywhere online for that matter that you feel comfortable and post your ‘THING’ and let it go! You can register using your real name OR NOT depending on you and what you are comfortable with since anyone can see these posts. For me personally, I will create a username that is ‘secret squirrel’ so that I will feel comfortable posting and not worry about other people figuring out my ‘THINGS’ that I so desperately want to keep as my ‘THINGS’ but need a way to let go of.

There are some other ways that you can do this physically if you don’t want to post it here. You can close your eyes (or not!) and think about the thing you want to give to God (or maybe you don’t WANT to but you know you NEED to) and picture the ‘THING’ you need to let go and place it in your hand and close your hand around the ‘THING’. After saying a little prayer (once again, or NOT! you decide how you do it, it’s your thing and your the one that has to let it go) open your eyes, open your hand and watch as it floats away. You no longer have to worry about that ‘THING’ ever again. Now you may worry about it again, but you don’t have to … the choice is yours! It’s much easier to just let it go. I’m sure you have PLENTY of other things you need to let go … I know I have no shortage of ‘THINGS’ of my own!

I also created an email address where I can email my ‘THINGS’ where I can at a later date log in and read all the ‘THINGS’ that I have worried about in the past and reflect on how much peace I was able to enjoy because of letting these ‘THINGS’ go. What an awesome feeling it is when you Give it to God!!!
